Corporate Golf Event Coordinator Role

We are seeking a professional and experienced Corporate Golf Event Coordinator to execute corporate days, group golf events, and functions at our resort.

  • This role involves managing corporate and group golf events from start to finish, including event setup, execution, and follow-up.
  • The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role within the golf or conference and events industry.
Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for corporate and group golf events and associated functions;
  2. Handle new and repeat inquiry;
  3. Maintain excellent relations with existing clients;
  4. Set up events in the system and input client's information to database;
  5. Formulate BEO and Event Invoices;
  6. Work closely with the Golf Executive and Golf Services Supervisor in the lead up, throughout and post event;
  7. Conduct weekly BEO meetings with the management team;
  8. Develop necessary set up schedules for all events;
  9. Maintain communication with clients about payments, accounts and menu changes;
  10. Provide regular communication to the Golf Executive about monthly sales goals and progress;
  11. Oversee set up, staffing and the execution of the event. Being present in the room to address the needs of the client and to ensure the event is executed as planned;
  12. Follow up with the client for post-event review;
  13. Occasionally perform site inspections, answer enquiries and drive business;
  14. Attend networking events;
  15. Assist with in-house events, golf events and offer assistance with ideas, set up and execution.
Requirements:
  • Previous Event experience;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role is essential;
  • Experience with Micropower, MiClub and Golf Genius software platforms is advantageous;
  • Sensational Customer Service;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Reliable, Punctual and impeccable grooming that would be expected in a corporate setting is essential;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Positive outgoing attitude ready to do what it takes to get the job done.
