Locum General Practitioner Opportunity in the Outback

Ochre Recruitment is seeking a skilled General Practitioner to fill a locum position in a remote outback town. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, providing medical care to a diverse community.
Key Details- Salary: $1500 - $1875 per day
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 12pm - 8pm, Weekends: 12pm - 4pm
- Accommodation and Travel: Provided
This locum position offers the opportunity to work as a solo GP, with the possibility of a second GP being rostered on weekdays. The practice will be equipped with Best Practice software and will see around 4 patients per hour. The working hours are from 12pm - 8pm on weekdays and 12pm - 4pm on weekends, with no on-call duties.
The practice will be staffed by 2 nurses and a nurse manager, who will be local to the area and familiar with the community. The GP will be required to see a mix of patients, including those with Cat 3 and 4 conditions. The Alice Springs Hospital and Emergency Department are located nearby, and the GP may be required to use an X-ray machine and ultrasound equipment.

Requirements- Unrestricted Specialist AHPRA Registration
