We are seeking a skilled and passionate Radiation Therapist to join our supportive team on a permanent full-time basis at our Norwest Clinic, with opportunities to work at Kingswood and Macquarie clinics as required.

Our multidisciplinary care environment offers access to comprehensive cancer care services, including radiation therapy and allied health support. Our dedicated team delivers personalized treatments in a patient-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pursue excellence in radiation therapy pre-treatment and treatment responsibilities, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
  • Cultivate an effective multidisciplinary team dynamic across the Centre and practice, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee the administration of all radiation therapy processes, maintaining high levels of professionalism and timeliness.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of administrative requirements, upholding established standards.
  • Maintain high-quality patient care standards, prioritizing patient satisfaction and well-being.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to plan and deliver patient services, fostering strong relationships within the team.
  • Provide relevant information and material to patients regarding radiation therapy, ensuring they are informed and empowered.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Radiation Therapy, pre-treatment & treatment, staying current with contemporary modalities and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in radiotherapy (treatment and pre-treatment), encompassing knowledge of modern modalities and techniques.
  • Able to thrive in an effective team environment, contributing to a collaborative culture.
  • Strong understanding of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services, recognizing their value and importance.
  • Active registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA and a current licence with the EPA.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, prioritizing empathy and compassion.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, embracing new ideas and best practices to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
