Digital Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge digital solutions using low-code application development platforms.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing sophisticated web applications, as well as contributing to architectural decisions by evaluating technology options and aligning solutions with established principles and roadmaps.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Create integrated web and mobile solutions using low-code application development platforms
• Design scalable solutions that meet high-availability requirements for mission-critical applications
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes to validate proposed solutions before full-scale implementation
• Review API mappings to connect enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and digital applications for optimal interoperability
• Provide clear technical direction and hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle, including code reviews and troubleshooting complex issues
• Drive continuous improvements across applications, environments, and processes by identifying opportunities for optimisation
• Offer advice, coaching, and knowledge transfer to junior staff members to foster team capability building

About You:

To excel in this role, you will bring substantial experience in low-code application development—ideally leveraging OutSystems—to deliver integrated web and mobile solutions. Your background should include leading teams through complex technical challenges while fostering an inclusive atmosphere where knowledge sharing is encouraged.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in low-code development platforms (with preference for OutSystems) for both web and mobile applications, including integration with large-scale enterprise systems
• Demonstrated ability in technical leadership roles involving mentoring team members and managing project deliverables within cross-functional settings
• Proven expertise in detailed design work and API mapping for digital applications that require robust connectivity between multiple systems
• Solid understanding of human-centred design principles applied effectively within web development projects to enhance usability and accessibility
• Advanced proficiency in REST APIs as well as familiarity with API Gateway tools and comprehensive API management practices
• Hands-on experience managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within Agile or DevOps environments
• Track record of designing scalable solutions that meet high-availability requirements for mission-critical applications
• Experience working with enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) alongside knowledge of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards
• Adept at performing thorough code reviews to uphold code quality while providing constructive feedback to peers
• Excellent analytical skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities enabling effective communication of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
