Electrical Supervisor

Randstad is proud to partner with a leading provider of construction and strategic building maintenance services for the Queensland Government.
We have an immediate need for an Electrical Supervisor based in the Caboolture Office. This will initially be a contract role with strong opportunities to extend and to apply internally once the probation period has been met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of electrical installations to validate compliance with AS/NZS Standards.
- Document works and keep records in accordance with company policy.
- Carry out safety audits to validate that electrical contractors are following their SWMS.
- Ensure specifications and standard of workmanship are met.
- Manage incoming repairs and condition reports for Air Condition systems within schools across SEQ.
- Liaise with clients and contractors in relation to completion of projects.
- Work in a team communicating with contractors, schools, and Senior supervisors on project status.
- Investigate technical issues and provide written technical reports.
- May be required to carry out inspections on switchboards, sub-circuits in schools.
Requirements:
- Be trained in asbestos-related work practices and provide evidence of this on request.
- Possess a thorough understanding of AS/NZS 3000, the Electrical Safety Act, and Regulations and Codes of Practice.
- Hold a current QLD driver's license.
- Must hold a current QLD Electrical Workers License.
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check and hold a Blue Card.
- Possess current working rights in Australia (this will be verified before your application can progress).

The successful candidate will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised while contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
