We are seeking an experienced Pastry Confectionery Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the executive chef to develop menus that showcase our expertise in pastry confectionery.
  • Executing high-quality pastry orders for catered events and accommodating special requests with precision.
  • Demonstrating exceptional skill in baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies that exceed customer expectations.
  • Creating visually appealing confectionery decorations and developing delicious pastry fillings, staying ahead of new pastry baking techniques.
  • Applying classic pastry baking techniques when preparing traditional pastries and introducing novel creations to our existing selection.
  • Hiring, training, and supervising pastry section staff while adhering to food industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitoring equipment and ensuring all specialized pastry baking tools are in optimal working order.
  • Maintaining the efficient operation of specialized pastry baking equipment and managing work schedules effectively.

About you:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Cook;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload;
  • Strong creativity and knowledge of pastries and cakes;

This is a permanent/full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $73,000 - $83,000.
