Renewable Energy Financial Modelling Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced financial analyst to join our team as a Renewable Energy Financial Modelling Specialist. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for undertaking complex financial modelling and analysis to support the growth of our renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial modelling and analysis to assess project economics and identify investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
  • Analyse financial data, market trends, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models, incorporating new energy forecasts and conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity testing as required.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or a related field, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modelling tools. Experience in the energy sector is highly desirable, but not essential.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance) is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.
