The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Strategic Planning Coordinator to join our team in Supply Chain Planning. As a key member of the Integrated Planning Manager – Beauty & Wellbeing team, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the overall volume forecast and ensuring it is aligned, unbiased, and accurate.
  • Telling compelling stories to senior management about the composition and assumptions behind the volume forecast.
  • Bringing together stakeholders from various groups to make informed decisions that drive business performance.
  • Partnering with the offshore Planning team to review Forecast Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and close gaps.
  • Driving robust business case development and tracking its evolution and performance to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional teams to deliver input-led volume forecasts in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Implementing Plan-by-Exception as a standard practice within S&OP, utilizing technology to maximize benefits.
  • Monitoring adherence to forecast inputs and key metrics, driving improvement agendas.
  • Leading customer collaboration sessions on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborating to address product availability constraints, crisis management, and gap management.
  • Supporting portfolio management and segmentation.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • APICS qualification or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Essential skills include strong experience in Supply Chain, Digital Analytic Tools like PowerBi, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry experience, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems knowledge.
  • You should have experience with Kinaxis and ACTPM systems, S&OP, and business environment understanding, Exception-based planning.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective communication and storytelling abilities.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Good understanding of KPIs: Dispatch Rate/DIFOT, Forecast Accuracy (FA), Forecast Bias (FB), Extreme Bias, Volume-Value disconnect, Inventory (DOH/Value), and Business waste.
