Job Title: QA Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage quality assurance processes across our portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of testing protocols to ensure high-quality game performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage timelines and processes for all game projects, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with project managers and development teams to align quality assurance processes with overall production schedules.
  • Lead and mentor QA personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient testing environment.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all game features and systems.
  • Maintain progress and effectiveness of testing activities, making adjustments to strategies and resources as necessary.
  • Communicate clearly with development and production teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyze quality metrics and feedback to inform process improvements and report on quality status to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a QA leadership role within the video game industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the game development lifecycle and specific testing needs at each stage.
  • Proven management skills with ability to oversee multiple projects and lead QA personnel effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient in QA tools and software, with aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
