About the Role
AU082 HONAN OPERATING CO PTY LT is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team in Brisbane - CBD office. In this newly created position, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the growth objectives of Honan by managing and developing business within our Real Estate team.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct sales calls and presentations to maintain a large portfolio of potential accounts and a high frequency of sales work.
- Utilize existing networks, account leads, and targeted research to gain business or interest from small, straightforward potential accounts in a delegated small region or industry.
- Assist senior-level colleagues in various markets and industries with aspects of the deal process to gain broad exposure, new relationships, and relevant experience.
- Maintain awareness of market occurrences, including developments, trends, competitors' positioning, and contracts to identify potential business opportunities.
- Draft comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations containing qualitative and quantitative assessments in response to a request for proposal or to assist a senior colleague to gain business.
- Construct targeted marketing plans for business offerings and concepts directed at small, straightforward potential accounts and aspects of complex marketing plans for use by senior colleagues.
- Belong to professional organizations, attend conferences, and events to expand and maintain a large professional network and represent the company.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance or real estate.
- Demonstrate experience in sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in CRM systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing client expectations and delivering on service commitments.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
