Compensation Administrator

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all employee payments comply with relevant legislation. This includes administering new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, leave, and allowances efficiently, maintaining accurate records.

• Process payroll in accordance with company obligations and relevant legislation.
• Manage employee data, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, leave, and allowances.
• Ensure compliance with PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.
• Prepare end-of-month payroll journals, reconciliations, and management reports to support financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in payroll processing with a strong understanding of employment law and taxation requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ability to interpret industrial instruments, employment contracts, and legislative obligations accurately.
• Strong focus on customer service with excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads and maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated initiative, analytical thinking, and commitment to high standards in payroll processing.
