About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team in Perth, WA. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects meet the highest HSS & ER standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the company as our projects develop towards offshore execution. The successful candidate will have extensive LNG/Brownfield exposure and will commence ASAP on a casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop project Health Safety, Security (HSS) & Environmental Management and Emergency Response (ER) Plans.
  2. Conduct HSS reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Implement and maintain HSS & ER aspects of Project HSE Management Plans.
  4. Participate in HSS & ER risk management workshops.
  5. Support project contract owners in meeting HSS requirements.
  6. Collaborate with SMEs to support HSS & ER requirements.
  7. Facilitate HSS & ER assurance activities, including audits.
  8. Assist with hazard and incident management and reporting.
  9. Prepare and deliver HSS & ER training sessions.
  10. Monitor decommissioning and project operations for compliance.
  11. Provide HSS site representation as required.
  12. Other duties as directed by the HSE Manager and HSS Team Lead.
Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or related fields.
  • 7-10 years' experience in offshore oil/gas, major projects, FPSO, construction, decommissioning, or installation.
  • Knowledge of HSS management systems and WA safety case regimes.
  • Familiar with Commonwealth, State, and Territory HSE legislation.
  • Experience in auditing, investigations, and incident management.
  • Causal Analysis Investigation Training (e.g., TapRoot).
  • Internal/External Auditor training.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Certifications: TBOSIET, CAEBS, MISC
