About This Role

The primary function of this position is to oversee the creation, deployment and maintenance of the Standard Operating Environment (SOE) across all end-user devices.

Key responsibilities include managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Horizon VDI, and overseeing patching, application packaging, automated distribution, and version control.

System administrators will be responsible for administering system configurations, policies, firmware, and automation scripts to ensure a secure and optimised environment.

Maintaining desktop images, planning and executing hardware and OS upgrades, and managing the full lifecycle of software and drivers is also crucial.

Providing expert-level support to users and projects, ensuring timely incident resolution and proactive service delivery is essential.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, and Batch.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale software deployments and modern endpoint management strategies.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
