About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join our team as an Employment Consultant.

This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities to transform their lives by securing employment opportunities with local employers.

You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and job seekers, to deliver tailored employment solutions that meet the unique needs of each individual.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and securing employment opportunities, supporting job seekers to become job ready, and delivering quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers
  • Support job seekers to identify skills to become job ready
  • Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance job seeker employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalised job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • The ability to complete a National Police Check
  • The ability to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
