We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment of manufacturing processes, improving process efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, with a focus on small bore tube welding.
- Collaborate with the global engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Subsea Distribution (SSD) daily production activity and projects.
- Review and analyze in-house raw material test reports and supplier reports, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Optimize manufacturing processes and take ownership of the welding process/SSD products.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure raw material requirements are met.
- Review and approve process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Strong understanding of general math and ability to read, write, and comprehend English and Hindi.
- Experience with Small Bore tube welding process and Subsea distribution products.
- Familiarity with API and ASTM codes, pressure codes, and standards.
- Thorough understanding of Subsea distribution product line and assembly and testing processes.
- Knowledge of measuring and monitoring tools, such as OD/ID meter, Hardness tester, PG/PT, and Temperature gauges.
- Experience working in a shop floor environment and knowledge of heavy-duty hydraulic equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC setup and automation, as well as operating overhead crane and forklift.
- Awareness of industrial safety standards and ability to perform dimensional inspection.
- Working knowledge of SAP roles for a process/manufacturing engineer.
- Sound knowledge of material handling and Assembly & Pressure Testing process.
- Working knowledge of lean implementation, VSMs, and shop floor digitization.
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience or relevant work experience of 8 years with diploma.
