Core Java Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Core Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, delivering and supporting trading products.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering using Java, with experience in Maven and Git. You should also have basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripts.


You will work closely with our development team to build and deploy containers, and have experience with financial exchange protocols (FIX/ITCH/OUCH) is a plus.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Review system requirements and implement according to defined standards and requirements.
  • Develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and CI/CD automation.
  • Support NASDAQ US operation, including system monitoring, network level packet level analysis, data warehouse analysis etc.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering using Java, proficient in Maven and Git.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux operating system and shell scripts.
  • Experience in building and deploying containers.
  • Experience with financial exchange protocols (FIX/ITCH/OUCH) is nice to have.
