About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Placement Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent business development skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include supporting students in their placement goals, monitoring and mentoring students during their work-integrated learning (WIL) placement, and ensuring mutually beneficial placements for all parties involved.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated business development skills and ability to build, maintain, and develop strong external and internal relationships
  • Understanding of recruitment and placement processes, with an interest in supporting students to develop and enhance their employability skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to accomplish key deliverables by balancing competing priorities
  • degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated cross-cultural skills and understanding of different approaches required
  • Ability to plan, organise, and achieve work targets, sometimes in demanding circumstances, and work harmoniously and constructively with colleagues
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to learn new software
  • Experience working within the sports sector
  • Understanding of Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training sectors

About You

As a Placement Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with industry partners, providing support to students in their placement goals, and ensuring that all parties involved benefit from the placement process.

You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that all aspects of the placement process are executed smoothly and efficiently.
