Principal Water Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Water Process Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing project and design management services to clients in the Water sector.
The Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Section works on long-term framework agreements with major clients across NSW, as well as collaborating with our teams nationally and working with interstate clients. You will have the opportunity to work on projects internationally and connect with global industry leaders and experts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide consultancy services in the Water Infrastructure market across the ANZ region.
- Responsibility for project delivery, client relationship management, and technical leadership throughout ANZ.
- Collaborate with commercial, operational management, sales, and technical leaders to create strategies, pursue opportunities, and plan, develop, and deliver projects to achieve successful technical and commercial outcomes.
- Support the management of the NSW Water Infrastructure Section and the wider ANZ water group in terms of team development, mentoring, and growth, building technical capability, and growing the water infrastructure portfolio.
- Be a technical and project lead for water infrastructure design projects, as well as providing technical guidance on large strategic consulting and planning projects.
- Keep abreast of new methods, technologies, and developments impacting the industry, Jacobs, and our clients to contribute to the strategic direction of the group.
- Facilitate Jacobs in maintaining a competitive advantage by identifying strategic pursuits and applying the latest technical developments in project delivery.
- Drive business development and be responsible for work-winning activities, including client engagement, opportunity assessments, supporting bids and proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- Help maintain compliance with Jacobs QA/QC procedures, including deliverable reviews, commercial reviews, and contractual administration.
- Facilitate the technical development of less senior personnel to meet market requirements and engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Have an uncompromising approach to safety and welfare, leading and supporting safety initiatives and driving Jacobs Beyond Zero culture of caring and implementing Jacobs shared values.
- Support the Jacobs water group to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationship building and work sharing to maximize the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Water Process Engineer with a relevant engineering degree (or equivalent) and excellent technical knowledge and strong proven experience in water infrastructure.
You will have extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, as well as being an excellent multidisciplinary integrator with a broad understanding of all the relevant disciplines that work together to plan, design, and manage water infrastructure projects.
You will have a strong track record with client relationships and demonstrated ability to find, bid, win, and deliver water infrastructure projects.
