Executive Chef

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Target Business Services, a leading hospitality group with multiple renowned restaurants in Perth. Job Description:

Company Overview: Our client operates multiple successful restaurants in Perth, including The Height's Bar & Bistro in Alexander Heights and Drunk Elephant Bar & Bistro in the heart of the city. These venues are known for their vibrant atmosphere, diverse menu offerings, and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.

Salary: $73,600 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation.

About the Role:

• Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes while maintaining kitchen efficiency and operational excellence.
• Plan, prepare, and cook menu items to ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor food stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory effectively.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with management to align menu offerings with customer preferences.
• Control portion sizes and minimize food wastage.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure timely preparation and service during busy periods.
• Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Foster a positive and professional environment in the kitchen.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant trade qualifications and at least 2 years' full-time experience as a Chef. You must also have a genuine interest in the hospitality industry and the ability to work effectively under pressure. In addition, you will need to comply with all WHS, Food Safety, and HACCP requirements.
