Job Title: Fire Service Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Fire Service Assistant. As a key member of our emergency response unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of people and property across our region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency incidents, including fires and rescues, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and outreach activities.
  • Maintain and operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and hygiene of station facilities.
  • Ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Manual C Class driver's licence.
  • Eligible to apply for or hold a current Blue Card.
  • Livability within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire stations.
