Project Cost Controller Position

The ideal candidate will provide cost and budget analysis to various projects, collaborate with project teams to develop budget management frameworks, and support compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver cost and budget analysis services for major projects across different industries.
  • Collaborate with project managers, controllers, and schedulers to establish budget management frameworks and tools.
  • Support adherence to project compliance and governance standards for best practices.
  • Recommend cost control improvements, cost breakdowns, and commercial oversight in collaboration with the project controls team.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related engineering, project management, or construction discipline or significant industry experience.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of industry experience is essential.
  • Proven experience as a project cost controller on major multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience with gated and milestone projects, variations, costs, contingency allowances, and contingency management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency is required.
  • Baseline or NV1 security clearance is advantageous.
