Teach Swimming to Young Children

This role involves delivering learn to swim classes for infants and preschoolers in a fun and engaging manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be able to communicate effectively with children.

The classes will be held on the University campus, which is close to public transport. This makes it easy for staff to commute to work.

We are looking for someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role. If you have experience working with children and enjoy teaching, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver learn to swim classes for infants and preschoolers in a fun and engaging manner.
  • To assess the skills of students and provide feedback to parents.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • To work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals.

Requirements

  1. A SWIM Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Qualification or equivalent.
  2. A SWIM Australia Teacher of Babies & Toddlers Extension or equivalent.
  3. A First Aid Certificate with CPR.
  4. A Working with Children Check.
  5. Licence to work in Australia.
