Enterprise Integration Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Integration Expert to design, develop and deliver enterprise integration solutions connecting various systems. This role will be central to building scalable, secure and maintainable integration components using cloud-based technologies.

  • Main Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement integration solutions using cloud-based services such as Azure LogicApps and Function Apps.

    • Build and maintain file-based and API-based integrations between different systems.

    • Apply integration design principles ensuring solutions are loosely coupled, scalable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise architecture.

    • Implement robust error handling with retry mechanisms, dead-letter queues and circuit breakers.

    • Configure and maintain centralized logging and monitoring using cloud-based tools.

    • Apply security best practices including OAuth, API keys, encryption and secure key management.

    • Evaluate compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.

    • Support functional, non-functional, load and performance testing using cloud-based tools.

    • Collaborate with technical teams to validate integration flows, ensure test coverage and resolve issues.

    • Document integration components with a focus on reusability, version control and knowledge sharing.

  • Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.

    • Proven experience in cloud-based integration services and integration patterns (pub/sub, request-reply).

    • Strong understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML and REST APIs.

    • Experience integrating various systems is highly desirable.

    • Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and frameworks is advantageous.

    • Strong diagnostic skills in resolving integration challenges across systems.

    • Experience designing and executing integration test cases to ensure data reliability and accuracy.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
