Process Improvement Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operations team in ensuring the smooth execution of processes at the fulfillment centers. Your primary focus will be on driving up the sortation and line haul infrastructure in the region, which includes identifying new routes and optimizing existing ones.



As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will work closely with the team to analyze data reports, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. You will also be responsible for monitoring and mentoring associates, preparing and implementing training plans, and conducting audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities


  • Daily management of shifts
  • Administrative management of associates
  • Job allocation to associates
  • Monitoring and mentoring of associates on productivity, quality, and safety
  • Analysis of data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve performance
  • Monitor status of problem solve queues
  • Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
  • Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
  • Conduct a 4M and 5S audit for the respective work stations on a daily basis
  • Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen
  • Essential Skills Defining the transportation process from FC to FC/RSC
  • Ensure enough bandwidth in sortation team to ensure peak time delivery management
  • Continuously improve the through put and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement
  • Stand-in for Area Manager


Requirements


  • High school or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required


Preferred Qualifications


  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
