About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Clinic Operations Director to join our team at VetPartners Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and driving business success in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of both clinics, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the clinic.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of veterinarians, technicians, nurses, and support staff.

  • Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage clinic finances, track revenue and expenses, and recommend financial improvements.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Facility Management: Ensure clinics are well-maintained and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for growth, marketing, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a veterinary management or leadership role.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Financial management experience, including budgeting and cost control.

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.

  • Passion for providing exceptional service to both clients and pets.

  • Experience with veterinary software and scheduling systems is preferred.

  • Flexibility to work across both clinics and manage multiple priorities.
