About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough design reviews and modification proposals to ensure constructability and meet project requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities and engage subcontractors to ensure a safe, timely, and quality product.
  • Develop and implement management plans and controls to facilitate project delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets and risk registers, advising on variations and managing budget for assigned work scope.
  • Plan, program, and monitor design activities to ensure timely and cost-effective completion, ensuring designs meet client briefs, are buildable, safe, and prevent re-work or ongoing defects.

About You

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the Engineering/Construction field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in railway Engineering/Construction field in OLE project delivery roles.
  • Recognized university degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) working towards Chartered Professional Engineer status with Engineers Australia or equivalent.
