Job Description

The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in the logistic supply chain, ensuring customers' goods are picked and packed accurately and efficiently. This includes:

  • Operating forklifts in a safe manner
  • Interpreting information on picking slips to locate stock and pick orders
  • Unloading/loading vehicles and moving goods within the warehouse
  • DIMing and weighing goods, recording information
  • Determining safe methods and equipment for handling goods
  • Maintaining 100% accuracy when picking stock and performing stock takes and cycle counts
  • Entering and updating information in computer systems
  • FOLLOWING operational procedures at all times
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and conducting daily safety checks
  • Reporting incidents, accidents, and near misses promptly

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in a similar position with a reach forklift license and experience is highly desirable. Experience handling dangerous goods is also an advantage.

About You

As a talented and enthusiastic individual, you will be responsible for working cooperatively with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations.
