What role will you play?

As a valued member of our development team, you'll face interesting engineering challenges and use a wide array of cloud resources to design and support a robust and scalable distributed computing platform. You'll collaborate with open-source technologies and cloud infrastructure, ensuring the stability and scalability of key system components like the massive-distributed compute platform and web-based data science environment.

You will also be responsible for developing our infrastructure as code, utilising scripting and Java to automate and streamline operations, contributing to a more efficient and reliable system as our user base grows globally.

What we need from you
  • Solid experience with Python or proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java/Scala
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS and Kubernetes, or similar experience on GCP or Azure
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with business users
  • Familiarity with Linux system administration, networking, and tools like git, Apache Airflow, Dask, or JupyterHub is valuable
