The Suburban Rail Loop Authority is a collaborative entity focused on enhancing public transport infrastructure. Our mission is to create efficient transport solutions that benefit communities and contribute to sustainable development.
Program Overview:
The NWPA Undergraduate Program is designed for students in their third or final year of study, offering valuable paid experience in the construction sector while pursuing academic qualifications. Participants will gain insights into the operations and functions of large-scale projects within an Alliance framework.

Responsibilities:
As an intern, your duties may include:
- Supporting the completion of quality assurance and documentation processes.
- Communicating with subcontractors to obtain updates on progress and quality metrics.
- Assisting engineering teams with design documentation, including as-built drawings.
- Collaborating with site supervision to provide necessary assistance.
- Engaging in digital engineering tasks related to project delivery.
- Assisting senior engineers in executing project scopes.
- Following established protocols to gather and analyze data while performing routine engineering tasks.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program, ideally in the third or fourth year.
- Demonstrated interest in gaining experience within the construction industry.
- Availability to work a minimum of two days per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to high-quality output.
- A collaborative mindset with a positive attitude.
- Possession of a valid Australian Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel to various project locations.
