Job Opportunity: Service Support Professional

The role of a Service Support Officer is to provide operational and administrative support to regional service delivery teams.

This includes front reception, administration, procedural, information technology and other service delivery activities. The Service Support Officer will be responsible for the front line of customer service, providing support in person or via telephone to clients facing complex challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing customer service support at initial point of contact
  • Greeting and streaming clients to the appropriate service channel
  • Identifying and prioritising clients who are potentially vulnerable
  • Assisting with client appointments, diary management, client file management, processing invoices, travel requests, and correspondence workflows

To be successful, you will need to have experience within an inbound customer service/reception role, working with the vulnerable, handling sensitive information, communicating professionally, and having sound decision-making skills.

You will also need to be able to research and make decisions using appropriate judgement, analyse and evaluate clients' needs, build relationships, and engage with diverse groups of people.
