The Head of Senior Years Studies and Curriculum Leadership is a pivotal leadership position at Good Shepherd Lutheran College, responsible for coordinating the curriculum to deliver high-quality student pathways in the senior phase.
This role works closely with the College administration, senior years support team, and Curriculum Leaders to ensure that senior learning options are tailored to student skills and interests, and focused on meaningful, authentic outcomes for the young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum strategies to enhance student learning and achievement
- Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders and teaching staff to design and deliver high-quality learning programs
- Work with the senior years support team to provide targeted support for students
- Contribute to the development of the College's educational vision and strategic plan
- Provide leadership and guidance to teaching staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in curriculum leadership and development
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other stakeholders
- Passion for delivering high-quality education and supporting student success
