Job Opportunity

A challenging role has emerged for a skilled Pool Maintenance Specialist to join our organization. This position combines general maintenance responsibilities with the specialized care of pools, spas, and associated equipment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine pool, spa & room maintenance checks
  • Maintenance and repair tasks in a busy hotel resort environment
  • Maintaining accurate logs of defects, maintenance activities, and pool chemical records
  • Responding to inter-departmental and guest maintenance requests
  • Carrying out tasks according to the established hotel maintenance checklist and scheduled preventative programs
Requirements
  • Some experience as a handyperson or similar role
  • Previous technical experience within the pool & spa industry
  • Highly advantageous: Professional history of working in a hotel/resort environment or similar settings
  • Computer literacy, able to use Preventative Maintenance Management System online
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Negotiable availability to work a 7-day roster which includes some evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and late finishes (7:00pm) and on-call shifts as required
  • NSW driver's license to operate hotel vehicles including buggies
  • Full Australian working rights
