About the Role
  • Key responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions across the Azure estate, encompassing AVD, Power Platforms, Integration Services, and Data & Analytics, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Closely collaborating with security, networking, and cloud adoption teams to implement hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions, driving innovation and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to capture requirements and design Azure-based solutions aligned with business objectives and technology strategies, fostering strong relationships and communication.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and define standards for seamless migration to Azure, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to ensure compliance requirements are met, adhering to industry best practices and regulations.
  • Support teams in migrating solutions to the Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zone Framework, facilitating efficient transition and optimal performance.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate solution designs effectively, distilling complex concepts into actionable insights.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise Azure resources, control costs, and enhance cloud operations efficiency, driving business growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Azure Architecture with hands-on solution design, governance, policy enforcement, and development of architecture standards.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure support/administration, with proven capability working in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Infrastructure as Code, automation, scripting, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, application readiness assessments, server builds, data migration, and performance tuning.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications with excellent written, oral, and stakeholder communication skills.
