About the Role

The Mines Rescue and Emergency Services Regulatory Compliance Officer ensures that all emergency response procedures and systems at a mine site comply with regulatory standards. This involves conducting regular audits, training checks, and coordinating compliance activities with relevant legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Oversight: Conduct regular audits and training checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training Management: Deliver regular training sessions for mine rescue teams to maintain proficiency in emergency response procedures.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate with mine site leadership during emergency situations to ensure effective communication and deployment of the mine rescue team.

About You

  • Hold Certified Mine Rescue qualifications and experience.
