Physiotherapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. As a Physiotherapist, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of your Team Leader, reporting to the Allied Health Manager.

You will manage a diverse range of patients who require rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-Orthopaedic surgery, musculoskeletal conditions, Neurological conditions, and other conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing physiotherapy intervention in individual and group settings in the gym, ward, and hydrotherapy environment.
  • Participating in developing appropriate discharge plans within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Working both independently and within a team structure.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek individuals passionate about customer-focused care and thrive working within a Multidisciplinary Team. You will have well-developed clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum one year of physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to effectively assess, plan, and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
