At MLC School, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. As an After School Study Support Learning Facilitator, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve academic success.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field of study and experience working within a school environment. Expertise in English, Mathematics, or Science is highly desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students, running small group activities, and monitoring student progress throughout the study session.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
  • Develop and implement engaging small group activities to promote student learning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and teachers
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective strategies to support student learning

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field of study
  • Experience working within a school environment
  • Expertise in English, Mathematics, or Science (highly desirable)
  • Current First Aid Qualifications
  • NSW Working with Children's Check
  • Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
