About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at LifeCare, a leading provider of healthcare services in Australia.

As a Physiotherapist at LifeCare, you will be responsible for providing high-quality treatment to our patients, working across a variety of case presentations and clients in our private practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Assess and diagnose a range of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, using your clinical knowledge and expertise to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and other modalities as needed.
  • Manual Therapy and Exercise Prescription: Provide manual therapy and exercise prescription to patients, using your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to optimize outcomes.
  • Group Exercise Classes: Lead group exercise classes, promoting physical activity and education to patients and clients.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports, including initial reports, progress reports, and final reports, to update referrers and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Professional Registration: Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience and Skills: Have experience or interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, with strong clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Working with Children Check: Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Criminal History Check: Be willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application.
