About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Global Capital Management team at Alcoa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and reduce capital intensity.
  • Conduct thorough threat and opportunity assessments to inform project decisions.
  • Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders, and provide regular updates on project performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects in the mining industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Waterfall.
