Job Title: Sweeper Operator - Grounds Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sweeper Operator to join our Grounds Maintenance team at RAAF Tindal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing daily sweeping duties across the Defence site, including runways, and ensuring that all work meets the standards of management and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing all required road and site sweeping duties as scheduled
  • Performing any general labouring duties that may be required
  • Ensuring road sweeping work meets the standards of management and the expectations of customers
  • Completing site inductions and accreditation with respect to customer sites where required
  • Performing all required start-up, wash-down end of shift and routine maintenance procedures

Requirements:

  • Current MR licence or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years truck driving experience
  • Experience driving a manual operated truck
  • Preferably possess a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a company driven focus

Additional Information: You must be an Australian citizen to work on a Defence site.
