Operations and Maintenance Manager

About this role :
Reporting to a senior leader, as our General Manager of Operations and Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring effective plant management across the entire value chain, including strategic planning, sourcing, acquisition, operations, and disposal.
You will lead the development of medium and long-term operational strategies and drive their execution. This includes performing asset accounting, overseeing maintenance strategies, and ensuring best practices in preventative maintenance, procedures, and spare parts holdings.
This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid working arrangement. The position is based at a corporate head office, with other locations considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize business outcomes.
- Lead asset accounting, maintenance strategies, and ensure best practices in preventative maintenance and spare parts holdings.
- Evaluate and implement improvements, optimizations, and acquisition opportunities.
- Maintain the asset register and oversee operational coordination.
- Provide expert advice on policy and legislative changes affecting reporting requirements.
- Oversee outsourced administrative services.
About You :
- Hold tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Be a commercially astute decision-maker with a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrate experience in an Asset Management leadership role.
- Show safety and risk leadership through continuous improvement practices.
- Experience in developing and operationalizing fleet management strategies.
- Operate in complex environments with the ability to create and deliver strategic business goals.
