The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture

This 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer undertakes major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years. The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments:

  • Albury Wodonga Military Area (including North, South & East Bandiana, Latchford Barracks, Wirlinga)
  • Blamey Barracks (Kapooka)
  • RAAF Base Wagga

The proposed capital investment of $1.7 billion incorporates various elements, including:

  • Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
  • Construction of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services

Your Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture. This role focuses on providing efficient project support and delivering accurate, timely, and responsive administrative services.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring prepared material, documentation, and correspondence are dealt with according to relevant procedures
  • Preparing debtor invoices, purchase orders, and payments
  • Monitoring payments and maintaining records of project revenue
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Paying Administration, tracking, and processing timesheets
  • Managing and implementing document control processes
  • Assisting the Senior Project Manager with day-to-day administrative duties

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills
  • JDE experience preferred but not mandatory
  • A demonstrated understanding of commercial and financial processes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to prioritise and work effectively in a busy working environment
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally

This role is locally based, and relocation is required for those outside Albury/Wodonga/Wagga areas. An attractive relocation package that includes removalist costs and a LAFHA (for eligible individuals) will be made available to the successful applicant.
