About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Fitter to join our team at Fortescue's Eliwana site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on large-scale mobile mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of mobile equipment, including excavators, drills, and haul trucks.
  • Conduct diagnostics and fault finding on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with mobile maintenance teams to ensure 100% compliance with maintenance schedules.
  • Follow all Fortescue and site-specific safety procedures and policies.
Requirements
  • Australian-recognised Trade Certificate.
  • Previous experience in mining, specifically with mobile plant equipment.
  • Experience or exposure to Electric HME is highly desirable.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • HR Driver's Licence.
