
Verification and Validation Specialist

The role of Verification and Validation Engineer, Site Autonomy, is to ensure the integration of autonomous site systems and their components meets industry standards and requirements.
This includes developing validation and verification plans for site system features, contributing to regulatory compliance, and integrating functional safety testing requirements into the overall strategy.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering or equivalent, with experience in product V&V activities for mining or resource-based technology applications.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent
- Certification such as ISTQB, PMP, or INCOSE
- Experience in writing test plans

Requirements include a valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
About This RoleThis exciting opportunity allows the candidate to contribute to the development of complex integrated systems, with direct experience with V&V activities for autonomous site systems and autonomous vehicles a plus.

This position may require some ad hoc evening or early AM meetings due to collaboration with international teams, so workplace flexibility is supported.

What We're Looking ForWe are looking for an experienced Test Engineer with a background in AHS mining operations who can bring their knowledge and skills to this fast-paced project.
The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
They will also have experience in a project environment from conception to full deployment.
A certification such as ISTQB, PMP, or INCOSE would be advantageous.
