Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality and Assurance Manager to lead our quality control and assurance activities at our Canning Vale manufacturing facility. As the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, you will oversee the entire NCR process, including investigation, documentation, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for improving the performance of their can lines, leveraging your expertise in quality management and process improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to Food Safety, HACCP, and Quality Management System standards, maintaining relevant certifications and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation, maintenance, and execution of internal and external audits for Quality and Food Safety, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Spearhead training and development initiatives for all site team members across quality-related areas, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Coordinate with machine suppliers to provide ongoing support and maintenance, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

About You

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, influencing and communicating effectively at all levels.
  • Experience leading auditing activities, with a deep understanding of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and document control systems, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
