Job Title: Water Resources Expert

Join our team of experts in water resources management as a Senior Water Resources Engineer. This role involves enhancing your capabilities and reputation within our Mine Water team.

As a member of our global team, you will collaborate with talented professionals on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that benefit clients and communities. You will be responsible for developing and delivering long-term stormwater and water quality infrastructure planning strategies, policies, and forward works projects.

  • Conduct rainfall, flow, and flood assessments, including modelling, mapping, flood mitigation design, water balance models, dam break assessment, and risk assessments.
  • Assist in various water management-related studies and investigations from pre-feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Support and assist in developing existing Mine Water group capability in mine water management.
  • Assist and/or undertake designs of hydraulic and other water management structures for mine sites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil, or Environmental.
  • Experience with flood modelling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW etc) and Goldsim.
  • Ability to demonstrate a resourceful approach to work, displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Technical writing skills with experience in proposal writing and technical reporting.
