Head of Sales Australia

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving online advertising revenue sales for flicks.com.au in Australia. Your focus will be on building direct and agency-side relationships to establish Flicks as a leading player in the Australian media landscape.
You will be instrumental in laying the foundation for establishing a strong Flicks sales team in Australia, replicating our success in New Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company, backed by Vista Group.

We are in an exciting period of expansion, and we are looking for a sales professional who is passionate about our product and has a strong network in the Australian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving advertising revenue across Australia, heading our agency and direct brand sales.
- Building proposals to close business across all of Flicks' advertising offerings (native, display, video, events).
- Developing an intimate understanding of Flicks and our advertising offering, and our position within the media industry.
- Selling in Flicks as an exciting new, premium and unique audience/environment for advertisers to engage with.
- Hitting sales targets.
Requirements
The Kind of Person We're Looking For
- You are passionate about all things cinema and streaming, and you are commercially astute.
- You have 5+ years of experience in a digital advertising position with a publisher, or with equivalent experience on the agency-side.
- You are a leader, team player, and effective communicator who can make decisions, think laterally, and uncover new opportunities.
- You are motivated by building Flicks in Australia, creating trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders, and laying the groundwork for an increasing presence.
