Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales and Retention Manager to lead our sales and retention team in a dynamic underwriting agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Performance Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, expanding the direct customer portfolio by enhancing new business conversion rates, quality metrics, retention rates, and revenue generation.
  • Mentor and Develop Staff: Foster growth and enhance skill sets among team members through effective mentoring and coaching.
  • Implement Performance Management Strategies: Optimize team efficiency and productivity by implementing targeted performance management strategies.
  • Meet KPIs: Ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within your team are met or exceeded.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading sales and retention teams within the General Insurance sector, with a focus on Property Insurance.
  • Industry Expertise: 2+ years of experience in Property Insurance, with Strata experience preferred but not essential.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage staff and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail to drive process improvement and optimize team performance.
  • Target-Driven Environment: Experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment, with a strong track record in meeting and exceeding set targets.
About the Role
