- Initial Assessments and Care Planning: Conduct thorough initial assessments and develop comprehensive care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Care Plan Updates: Regularly review and update care plans to ensure ongoing patient needs are met.
- Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families to empower them to manage their care effectively.
- Recognizing and Responding to Clinical Deterioration: Identify and respond promptly to any clinical deterioration, escalating as necessary to ensure patient safety.
- Current AHPRA Nursing Registration: Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 1 Year Acute Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
- NDIS Clearance: Hold a valid NDIS clearance or be willing to obtain one.
- Police Clearance: Hold a valid police clearance or be willing to obtain one within 6 months.
- Use of Own Vehicle: Possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, with comprehensive insurance.
- CPR and Manual Handling Certification: Hold current certification in CPR and manual handling.
