Job DescriptionAs a Senior Project Leader, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery from pre-contracts through to handover. You will be responsible for managing project risks, contract obligations, work health and safety, environmental compliance, and quality. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering cooperation and trust with clients and subcontractors, and communicating professionally to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and deliver results.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with company frameworks and client agreements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to address potential issues.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and control project costs, forecasting expenditures and coordinating subcontractor performance to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in project management, preferably in construction or water industry projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of delivering safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Aptitude for commercial arrangements, procurement, financial management, design, and contracts management.
- Demonstrated capability in managing complex stakeholder groups and driving successful collaboration.
