About the Role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Welding Inspector to join our team in South Australia, supporting our Maintenance and Industrial Services Division. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Workshop Supervisor and Project Team on Piping & structural, carbon steel & stainless steel materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Branch Quality requirements and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct weld inspections and testing, creating weld maps, ITPs, and ITRs as required.
  • Arrange external examination companies to test Workshop & site welds.
  • Monitor and update welder qualifications in the central register.
  • Perform duties in both Workshop and Site environments, depending on operational requirements.
Requirements
  • Welding Supervisor 1796 and AS 2214 certifications.
  • Experience in a similar role within the construction and/or resource industry is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and show initiative with a strong work ethic.
